Browsing around, reading up about Time Domain, came across this snippet and thought of potential impact on battery demand... Couple other companies in the area, US Radar and Zircon. FWIW. ------------ Time Domain has created ultra-wideband radio technology that could let cellphones and other portable devices transmit millions of bits of electronic data per second, using 1/500th of the energy needed now, and without causing interference with other broadcasts, according to company leaders.
