Progressive is now the mainstream majority view. Just look at the voting patterns in the primaries. Twice as many are voting in the dem primaries as the GOP. Plus, the Bushie type far corporate rightwingers like Romney, Guiliani and Thompson got clobbered and knocked out of the race very quickly despite spending a ton of money. Maybe the Limbaughs of the world like them, but few others did. The only GOP candidates who have done anything are the ones who have at times criticized Bushies and their corrupt policies, McCain, Huckabee and Paul. Everyone else has been shown the door and told not to let it hit them in the ass on the way out. The Bushie rightwing is finished as a dominant political force, maybe for the rest of our lives. And they have proven that though Reagan was a great charismatic leader, his policies don't work and are crafted only for the rich and the military-industrial corporate elite, including the war profiteers who want us to be in a state of permanent war so they can sell trillions in massive weapons systems.
