and this is worse, exactly how?

Wadda sillyoid debate!!!

Before we talk about better or worse regarding such terrible conditions we ought to spend some time establishing a foundation for measuring better and worse, which really boils down to a question of ‘worth it or not’?

Is counting the number of deaths or injuries a valid measure all on it’s own. Most people would say no because you can attribute deaths to any number of causes and circumstances and fix blame on a variety of entities. Which are better and which one's are worse is always a matter of perspective. The fact is there are millions of deaths, an untold and innumerable quantity of human suffering ultimately taking place on an annual basis, and we are all likely to yet to suffer and to die.

Suffering = yuck, yet it is an unavoidable a fact of life for all of us.
Torture = inexcusable
Fraud and deceit = intolerable
Corruption and extremism = debauchery
Terrorism = base evil
War = ick maxxed out.

Combine all this and we have the formula, the very definition of our generation’s contribution to the global conditions of humanity.

So we should definitely be asking ourselves, ‘Is it worth it?’

That is first an individual question that each of us must answer for ourselves and ultimately we must take a stand on that as cause and consequence of our lives on this planet.

So we all choose what to live for, which is the same as saying we choose what to die for. The ultimate question we continue to press upon ourselves is, “is the life we’ve chosen worth living”, If the answer is no we oppose it until we can change it.

Be the change, live in the cause.
