You asked for a response to the lack of preaching to those who lived before Christ, so I provided it.

Since you won't read it, I will post it for you.

1 Peter Chapter 3 Verses 18, 19 & 20

For Christ died for sins once and for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,
through whom also he went and preached to the spirits in prison who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it(the ark) only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water

AND

1 Peter Chapter 4, verses 5 & 6

But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to men in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.

The Gospel was preached to the dead.

Have a good one TD.
