40 still ahead Today's action looked a LOT like yesterday's. Gap up, never close, peak around 2:00, and then succumb to profit-taking until a late-afternoon surge. The difference is that the profit-taking was more severe, and the late-afternoon buying was not enough to push AAPL to 40 resistance, unlike yesterday which landed the price right at 38 resistance. I'm impressed that the volume was a strong as it was, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see some profit-taking tomorrow. Then again, it IS Christmas Eve, and major sell-offs don't exactly characterize holiday trading days. . . Andrew
