Silver is wonderful. Buy low, stay high. No central banks manipulating it. Of course, you have ol' Warren All you can eat Buffett controlling the market, and he's a loose cannon with all of his braindead reinsurance losses. May be forced to sell at some point.

Natural gas has been great and I don't think it's over. However, it is obviously riskier in the 400s than in the 200s. I would play it with calls on futures. Winter could be bad, but the prices discount spring arriving eventually. From what I understand, there is almost no way to increase storage supplies dramatically, of either ng or heating oil, this late in the game.

Last year, the most famous meteorologist that futures traders use predicted the coldest winter in history. It was the warmest. Hey, I could do that job. <g> I think his name was Abby Joseph Coldone or Joe Battenthestormwindows.
