A few items this morning from Briefing.com on XMSR and SIRI.

07:28 ET XM Satellite (XMSR) 17.04: WSJ highlights satellite radio in the Personal Technology section. The editor spent about testing XM Radio in a borrowed 2002 Cadillac, the only car so far that can be purchased with the special XM-capable radio receiver installed at the factory. (Owners of other cars can buy add-on equipment in after market). Article calls XM an artistic success, but has big drawbacks such as expense ($200-$400), most XM stations carry commercials despite the $10 monthly fee, design of systems make navigation a "nightmare," and reception can be spotty. GM told the reporter it is working on better XM radios that may even work by voice command.

07:07 ET Sirius Satellite (SIRI) 10.88: Hearing from trading floors that co has priced a 12 mln share spot secondary offering at $9.85 per share.
