Booz Allen to Slash Headcount as Government Cuts Hurt Outlook bloomberg.com May 23, 2025 at 6:35 AM AKDT Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corp. will cut about 7% of its almost 36,000 employees this quarter in response to the Trump administration’s move to shrink government spending. Most of the headcount reductions will take place in the civil business, Chief Financial Officer Matt Calderone said on an earnings call Friday. “We are seeing agency reorganizations, reductions in government personnel and spending levels, as well as contract reviews,” Chief Executive Officer Horacio Rozanski said on the call. “These are especially acute in civilian agencies.”
