The U.S. had to veto a UN resolution calling Israel's reaction disproportionate as well as calling for an end to the attacks on Israel.

How come the Security Council has be silent on all the rocket attacks in the past six years from Hezbollah into Israel? How come they only convene to worry about violence in the Middle East when Israel reatliates for attacks, but don't think it worthwhile to say anything when Israel is being attacked?
