National Semi (NSM) 25 -1.19: -- Update -- On call, says slowness in bookings, not pricing, has been its problem; projecting capacity
utilization rate to be slightly below 50% in Q4 and gross profit in the low-41% range... has seen a lot of rescheduling of backlog this qtr,
and while rescheduling has slowed some, it is still relatively significant at OEMs... thinks it is getting much better inventory data out of
mobile handset OEMs... conference call just concluded... NSM -1

Cisco Systems (CSCO) 20.61 +1.36: -- Update -- With regard to the lower than expected $2.2 bln inventory charge, Cisco's CFO says
that the reduced write-off simply reflects "the conservative nature of the original estimate." Will discuss the inventory issue in more detail
later in the call.
