The story is more...how many have I packed AND unpacked so far......I was so tired last night....getting this organized is hard work....<ggg>
The Lunch Bunch fun trip is pretty easy to deal with....just stuff for the day, and a bit of casual glitter for the evening...It's going to be one giant Birthday slumber party for old(er) ladies.... the trick is, we are all going in the same car....5 of us....so today, since I'm driving, I have to unload the trunk of it's various treasure stores of stuff so we'll have room for that many (or more) suitcases.... We go from Sun and back Tues PM....
The State Conference trip (leave early Thurs am, back Sun pm late) always is hard to pack for, and even harder this time, because we're going (4 of us) same car, and not lots of trunk space....3 formal banquets, 3 day of business meetings, with 3 different luncheons, a memorial service (hat and gloves). casual things, sleepwear, toiletries, shoes, bags, PLUS all the various papers and items we bring to things like this....How to get all of that into a med size suitcase and a small garment bag ought to be interesting..... |
