QTEK news out this am. I like the statement at the
bottom about as much as anything. :^)

Quintek Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: QTEK - news) today announced receipt of an order for a high speed Q4300 aperture card imaging system (with Hollerith punch) for Whirlpool Corporation (NYSE: WHR - news), headquartered in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The Quintek system will provide Whirlpool with an automated means to produce aperture card media directly from online digital image files. The cards will be used for internal distribution of engineering drawings and archiving of critical information.

Whirlpool is the world's leading manufacturer and marketer of major home appliances, including: washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ranges, compactors, room air conditioners, microwaves, hand mixers, and blenders. The company has principal manufacturing operations and marketing activities in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. Whirlpool's primary brand names -- Kitchen Aid, Roper, Bauknecht, Ignis, Brastemp, Consul and its global Whirlpool brand -- are marketed in more than 170 countries worldwide.

In North America, Quintek supplies chemical-free equipment, software, media, and services used to preserve digital data and insure against information loss due to catastrophic events, computer virus, technology obsolescence, Y2K, equipment failure, media degradation, change in formatting standards, and software incompatibility.

Quintek is headquartered in Camarillo, California, with Sales and Marketing based in Washington DC, manufacturing in Karlskoga Sweden, and Engineering/Customer Support in Montpelier, Idaho. Existing customers include: TRW, Caltrans, US Navy, Lockheed-Martin, Dresser Industries, Zenith, NASA, Aramco, Smith Industries, and Duke Energy among others.

This document contains forward-looking statements. There are certain important factors that could cause results to differ materially from those anticipated by the statements made above. Additional information on these and other factors will be included on future 10-Q and 10-K reports. Quintek plans on filing its Form 10 with the Securities and Exchange Commission during the month of December 1999.

Happy investing!
