As most of you know! Leap has been involved with many transactions with NTCH/Cleartalk. Among them is the JV in Idaho called ClearTalk.

cleartalk.net

In addition, there was the recent transaction which involved the sale/swap of Kentucky, Tenn, Alabama, and Arkansas, Montana spectrum for spectrum which NTCH acquired in Auction 35. Which included a Call Option to Leap to purchase effectively all of the shares in a holding company that NTCH/GWI operate.

It appears that Cricket is providing long distance payment servcies to one of NTCH's (ex-LWIN) properties in Kentucky operating under the name CollegeTownPCS.

collegetownpcs.com

Under Long Distance link

"CollegeTown PCS has contracted with a third party company to provide billing and replenishment of added airtime. You must have paid and have credit on your account set up through us. You may pay your bill through Cricket Wireless***’ *PAY system on the phone, by using a debit/credit cards. If you do not have a debit or credit card, you will have to contact us to explore special arrangements.

*** Cricket Wireless,

is a subsidiary of LEAP Wireless Int'l., and is in no way affilited with CollegeTownPCS"

BTW affiliated is spelled wrong on the page!

CollegeTownPCS has a switch sharing agreement with Cricket for use of the Knoxville Switch.

In addition, NTCH recently purchased some D Block spectrum in BTA's surrounding Phoenix and Tuscon.

NTCH purchased spectrum in Yuma, and Sierra Vista, AZ from Qwest.

No point Jon. Just some interesting info.
