>>You think there might be a little short stampede tomorrow?<<

Don't think this can happen - here's why . . .

. . . since shorting takes so much savy to do correctly, the people who tend to short in serious quantity undoubtedly realize that if everyone rushes to cover, it will be worse for them all.

I am quite sure that given the level of knowledge and sophistication within that group, that they already have an agreed
upon, orderly arrangement worked out where-by eveyone will take their turn politely so as not to run the price up. Since they have all made so much money already, there is really no reason for any for them to be greedy and try to fully cover their positions before everyone has had a fair chance to cover a part of theirs.

There will also be other shorts who do not wish to cover, and an unseemly rush by other shots would be disrespectful of that groups beliefs. I am sure no shorts would ever want to be acused of that!

Of course, this is just my opinion - and I have been very wrong about a whole lot of stuff in my life - but as they say in the investment arena, "Past performance is no guarantee of future events" -- so, what the heck --I could right about this too!!
