Jeff,

Thanks for your reply and the info. To be honest I know
nothing about VLNT but I'll take a look. I think every one
who participated in this forum believes video-conferencing
is about to take off.

When George Fargo started this talk his intial assumption
was right on the money- if it's free everyone will be doing it.
And that is what I still believe. The future is moving to the
low priced end and PCTL never saw it coming. The margins
disappeared with the competition. I didn't actually think
PCTL would get clipped that fast. I had heard from a money
manager that has a huge position in PCTL that they had
good management, not good enough.

As far as Intel is concerned, you're right, they aren't a player
in this arena yet. And it's purely earnings that has moved the
stock. But I think Groves vision of moving his processors into
the video arena is where the future of INTC lies, and I think it
is only a matter of time before everyone who owns a computer
with an MMX or higher processor will be video-conferencing.
It may not be this year but watch out for CPQ and their ties
in the corporate world. It's a target market for them.

Good luck.

Jamie

PS. Tony if you're out there, I apolagize for the dig but I couldn't
resist being a jerk. It comes easy for me.
