ACCR news. Access Power Expanding And Improving Net.Caller(TM) Service

Company Implementing System and Capacity Upgrades to Match Growth

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla., Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Spurred by global expansion, increased consumer demand and a commitment to enhance service quality, Access Power, Inc.'s (OTC Bulletin Board: ACCR) Net.Caller(TM) Internet-based flat-rate PC-to-phone and phone-to-phone is undergoing service improvements to accommodate the company's growth demands.

"We are poised for growth in the new millennium," Glenn Smith, CEO and president of Access Power, said. "Managing Net.Caller's growth and optimizing the quality of service are of paramount importance to Access Power. Our system-wide upgrade is a springboard for our Year 2000 expansion plans," he noted.

Smith said improvements to Net.Caller services include installation of both software and hardware to increase the capacity of the network -- necessitated by increased global customer demand -- and improve overall call quality including reduced latency, or delays, in phone conversations and choppiness in voice.

The upgrades are part of company efforts to support expansion into Europe later this fall. The company recently signed an agreement to market its Net.Caller flat-rate long distance service through Lycos-Bertelsmann AG, the only pan European Internet portal.

The company currently offers a flat fee of $10 per month for unlimited PC- to-phone calls from anywhere in the world to the company's North American service area, which includes the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Net.Caller will offer worldwide callers unlimited calls to pan-European countries for a flat-rate of $15 per month or they can choose both the North American and European Net.Caller coverage plans for a flat-rate of $20 per month. Net.Caller phone-to-phone customers enjoy unlimited flat-rate calling from and to anywhere in the continental United States for $49 per month.
