Here's a curious comment. Check out Jim Gram's(T) comments at the TDMA EDGE 2000 conference. "We are going to set up some GPRS test networks to demonstrate interoperability overseas with BT. We can reuse them when we implement EDGE.(paraphased)" Now why would you do that, if you plan on implementing EDGE, and as they claim, is ready to rock & roll??? Unless of course....EDGE is vaporware. Nagel thinks that although he's new to wireless, there's way to much debate about the technical aspects of the various technologies. This is from their CTO. God help them... tdma-edge.com
