Gee, I guess Pittman now agrees with what AOLrealists have been saying for some time: AOL proprietary content is inferior to what's on the Web (and the gap will grow greater).

Pittman seems to care little about showing his contempt for the intelligence of AOLers: they are so dull they in effect only care about "brand" no matter how poor that brand is.

Apparently, AOL is built on P.T. Barnum's maxim.

Also, that J3 offer of free internet is a much better deal than AOL-Tel-Save pairing. j3com.com

If this foreshadows a major escalation in access price wars, AOL should be a major casualty.
