The FED can in theory cut 1% in this case {under emergency} all they need is a 5 minute telephone conversation... I suspect 5 minutes before open, you'll see the Fed cutting, and the protection team buying ALL Dow. I feel this is WHY the ECB decided not to cut, as to blow away the USD prematurely. Expect a very well coordinated G7 currency manipulation and selling of Gold from Japan. This may be why Bush has called it an act of WAR, to free up the FED's Hands. Watch M2 rate ramp up fast, and a flight of Repo's from the FED.
