Tom, read trough recent history and UN declarations and you will realize that there are not occupied lands West of the Jordan. those territories are in dispute ....... a huge difference. The claim of the arabs who call themselves palestinians is false. Transjordan which is now plain Jordan was intended to be the so called palestine state when the British, French and Russia divided the land mass from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean inventing all those "states" like the Iraq, Saudi arabia, the various emirates etc. Many ethnic groups were left out or plain massacred by the arabs like the Armenians and Kurds for example. The problem in Israel exist only because the arabs were unable to kill or conquer all the Jewish people there. The arabs stated many wars since 1929 with the purpose to drive the Jews out, but did not succeeded to defeat the Jews to date.
