AGA Working Gas Storage Data for Week Ended Mar 16

Washington, Mar. 21 (BridgeNews) - The American Gas Association today
reported U.S. gas storage at 688 bcf for the week ended Mar. 16, down 23
from the previous week, and down 376 from the same period of
2000.

(2) Includes Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas
Mississippi and Alabama.

(3) Includes all states east of the Mississippi River less Alabama and
Mississippi, plus Iowa, Nebraska and Missouri.

(4) Includes all states west of the Mississippi River less the Producing
Region and Iowa, Nebraska and Missouri.

(5) This Week regional and Total U.S. volumes divided by Estimated Full
regional and Total US volumes. This statistic is intended to show
how "full" working gas is at any given time.

(6) This percentage value describes the survey sample size each week
(sample may change if companies fail to report or a company is added
to the weekly survey). It is determined by dividing the maximum
volume held in recent years in reported pools for all the reporting
companies in a given region for that week by that regions estimated
full. Any additions to the sample or failures to report are
reflected in a percentage change from the prior week.
* In addition to the net withdrawal of 23 Bcf of working gas from storage,
1 Bcf of base gas was withdrawn from the Producing Region for the week
ending March 16, 2001. To date, 8 Bcf of base gas has been withdrawn.
