Razor, what the author neglects to mention is many will go broke. Until the Japanese govt stops funding (through a captive banking system) companies that long ago should have gone bk there is little room for optimism. The demographics continue to be horrendous and will not turn positive for years.

Having said the above, the Nikkei is far closer to a true bottom than the Dow. That doesn't mean it doesn't have a long way down yet to go.

Remember, come June most will acknowledge world wide recession:
