No, America is not perfect. But I don't have a compulsion to criticize it. Particularly not here and not now. There are well-known grounds to criticize certain historic aspects of our country. But America has made major advances - due in large part to the credit of the generation who grew up in the Great Depression years. All in all, this is the best country in the world. I'm proud of it. I'm proud of the ideas our country was founded on. I'm proud of the role we've played in the world especially since we became the primary world power during and after WWII.
