Exactly the point I was trying to make. Moreover, even after Dr. Ho presents his conclusions, we will not know for sure whether any "cures" are not actually in the works. It gets down to the sensitivity of the detection system. A few virus may hide out for a person's entire natural life. I guess these occult individuals would be "cures" vs cures, but we would most likely not be able to tell the difference. I get "cured" of virus infections all the time, but how many actual cures I have actually experienced is unknowable at this time. They may all still be lurking like some of the folks on this SI thread. You never know when they might break out and try to kill you. Herpes xoster is like that. It gets you first as chicken pox and then gets you later as shingles. By the way I have first hand evidence (one case only from my wife's own experience) that acupuncture can stop shingles dead in its tracks. Has anyone else seen that happen?
