Glad to see you back on the thread. I've made a couple good option trades based on your advice about buying in-the-money options on stocks trading at the support level. No big money amounts though, just small plays while I learn the ropes.

What do you think of covered call writing? I don't have much free capital to work with right now, but in a year or two I will be moving a large lump-sum retirement distribution into an IRA account. I've learned that writing covered calls is allowed in an IRA brokerage account, so I'm researching this technique. One major advantage of an IRA is that there would not be a capital gains hit if the stock was called.
