Just one example. Notice huge contraction of volume on retest of lows of Monday.

Marginal new low on 50% of the volume

The PMs should turn tail and scoot in the coming days.

Just a small comment on Chan and some other pundits making big bear calls. In every large bull there are trend breaks that lead to the establishment of new TLs. This happenned in the $COMP in the 1995-2000 period (1998 being the most obvious which just happens to be another hedge fund blowup). Bears were calling for a crash in tech in 1994,1995,1997,1998 and 1999. In 4 of those years there were large corrections but the market recovered quickly and went higher. FWIW a stock like GG that has been killed is still above its monthly TL.
There are comparisons being made between tech and commodities and rightly so. The only thing that I disagree with is that we are not in 2000, we are in 1997 or 1998.
