On the subject of Kempin, here's a column of historical interest, it was the first I heard of him. I figured out fairly early on that the Microsoft OEM chokehold was a key element in the browser war, but finding the name of someone who could send the OEMs crawling to Ballmer(?) for mercy startled me a bit. As I've posted before I've actually come to sort of admire Ballmer, he's obviously as competitive as anybody, but pretty forthright from what I've read.
