Living in a garrison state does not help. Fear of suicide bombings and the maintenance of an iron hand over millions of arabs also help explain this. Prior to I2 the number had to be much higher and i expect that after the 6 day and yom kippur wars, Israel had some of the higher numbers. The victory against Pal terrorism comes at a high price for the Jewish people who set out, contrary to the new PC, to try to live in peace with their neighbors. At this they have miserable failures due largely to their neighbors behaviour. mike
