its deep enough that people who know won't talk about it. I got glimpses thru friends in contracting firms, but even they woul clam up after a point.

re congress/pro-arab, i'm not sure if this is true. India has always been friends in an overt manner with the arab nations, because a significant part of the arab work force is from india, and the forex repatriations have helped india (i believe current reserves is in excess of $1B).

BTW, politicians are paid to make politically appropriate noises. Its the people who get the job done, regardless of 'party in power' that progress these relationships.

over a period of time, india will have peace with pakistan. its a matter when, not if. after all the 2 countries have existed separately for only about 55 years, but share a common cultural heritage of about 5000 years.
