Re the first annual WIND Developers Conference that was announced on Thursday:

I sure like owning the stock of a company that holds developers conferences, where customers are compelled by market forces to pay cash money for the privilege of learning more about the company's products. Just another reason why it's ludicrous to compare WIND's valuation to companies like Western Digital and Radisys. It would seem that Microsoft and Netscape provide more appropriate models.

I also like the fact that Intel and Motorola are the two co-sponsors. Maybe next year TI will sign on as well.
