The principal lines controlling price movements in the COMPX were born long ago. I always get a good laugh at postings by TA types that only look at a few months of data. (BTW, the lines I am referring to are drawn with software, not by hand.)

An X-Files Line:
There are many illuminating price interactions in the 4 or 5 lines I am referring to. As one example, take a weekly chart, connect the lows of Aug and Sep. Extend the line left and you will touch the highs in Jul/99. Follow it left some more and you arrive at the 1987 low.

As always, I use log charts.
