Not all have prospered.

There has been a widening gap between rich and poor, wages aren't rising as fast as inflation right now, the war is piling up the deficit, and future medicare liabilities are monstrous. That's just economic issues.

In addition are such factors as the climate, the environment, our diminished reputation in the world, lack of healthcare for 47mm americans, job and pension insecurity, and RIGHT WING TALK RADIO!!!!! (just kidding on the last one, but it does annoy me.)
