Ditto on Brad's comments. In the end Mastercard realizes that its "biometrically enhanced" cards must be compatible with Verifone's card readers or they will still be considered "biometrically challenged." (I love coining new phrases.)
IDX's affiliation with Verifone is the key to this market. PREDICTION: ONCE ORACLE RELEASES ADVANCED NETWORK OPTION SOFTWARE AND LIST OF CUSTOMERS, COMPANIES WILL BE COMING OUT OF THE WOODWORK TO ALIGN WITH IDX.
EVERYBODY WILL WANT TO BE ASOCIATED WITH THE STANDARD BEARER OF BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION.
