Ellen, Very good article. Thank you for finding it and bringing it here... There's little argument that the shorts do some of Wall Street's best research. Though I have never shorted any stock in my life, it is from reading about the travails of shorts that I have learned how to properly investigate a potential investment opportunity. I'd like to think that Mr. Greenberg was somehow thinking of me and other of my cyber-friends when he wrote "...shorts do some of Wall Street's best research" as opposed to "all of Wall Street's best research"...
