Abbott Labs (ABT: news, chart, profile)agreed to buy privately held medical device maker Integrated Vascular Systems Inc. for $65 million in cash. Abbott said the deal would result in a one-time charge, but didn't give a specific figure. The medical products company said the acquisition of Integrated Vascular would bring a valuable portfolio of devices used in vessel closure.
