Most of the movies we seem to watch around here star Claude van Damme and Arnold Scwartzenegger. Do they qualify as foreign? They both have accents. I've been wanting to see Like Water for Chocolate for three years now but never seem to be rid of the boys, who are at the age that they rewind any scenes with partial nudity over and over and over, while giggling and nudging each other. I read "Using Technical Analysis" by Clifford Pistolese; that was pretty foreign. Speaking of American Indians(I am the queen of non sequitur), I just finished "Yellow Raft on Blue Water". Have you heard of it? Favorite book this year-The Shipping News Runner-up: Carol Shields' Small Ceremonies (I liked it better than Stone Diaries) Absolutely the Worst Book Ever Written and if someone can explain what value it could possibly have, I'd love to hear it: THe Celestine Prophecies I hope none of you is the person on the bookjacket who oozes on about how his life was changed and saved by this book and that you subscribe to Redfield's monthly newsletter and have frequent bouts of invisibility.
