I agree. I believe that the only reason this discussion group is so active is that people can relate to the product so well. Everyone posting here is probably a golfer and is fascinated by the new equipment changes that are constantly being introduced. I don't think that anyone has a good handle on what the potential market size for shafts is, and how much Quadrax can realistically expect to grab. It seems to me that this is a pretty niche type product that probably doesn't even have a good profit margin associated with it. Quadrax was founded as a defense industry supplier. Their thermoplastic tape was used in the Seawolf sub and they were negotiating with Boeing to supply tape when the shift was made to consumer products. Maybe they would have done better to continue focusing on the industrial/defense products. Who knows at this point, but it is hard to say that the move to the consumer markets has been a resounding success.
