This is getting pretty unreal for me. For my entire career, I have worked for small software startups, usually with around 30 people or so. So a couple of years ago, I decide to join another startup (Actra), with what I thought of as a large number of employees - 150. At the end of last year, we get acquired by Netscape, and now Netscape is being acquired by AOL. I feel like the little fish being eaten by a bigger fish being eaten by yet another bigger fish, etc. What do the folks on this thread think of the AOL acquisition of Netscape? Perhaps I could create a new thread about it.
