First of all, I appreciate your efforts in trying to make SI your SI but I see a few problems. Of course, it's just 'me' and the group is more important than the individual, right?
That being said,

1) Background is too grey. If I have any options for background colors could I have them posted on a link? (see no. 3)

2) Your home page, I hate to say it, is 'horrible'.

3) Differentiate the message boxes from the background color. If you make the message boxes a slightly different color then the background color would be fine.

4) I would like to see a 'subject' header where there are no new posts on my 'favorites' page. After reading all the posts I see the subject header over the read posts. It looks like I have more posts to read, which I do not. I don't know if I'm explaining myself correctly but, if pressed, I think I can.

5) Could we get a PREVIEW function? Sure would help me a lot.
