My impression (maybe wrong) is that in the very long run
(when secular bulls and bears seem like ripples on the chart)
the growth of the market cap should be equal to the growth of
GDP(%-wise). So one cannot be way ahead of the other.
This is just one of the valuation measures.
That said, I have no idea how it has been
in Malaysia. I was thinking about buying EWM. However, this figure
seems troublesome. >100% often indicates a bubble stage of the market.
So I think I'll pass on this one. -Vi
