Either --- we find more oil (not infinitely possible) in which case global warming gets much worse (to some extent it's already too late -- what damage has been done will take decade to play out); or --- we don't, in which case global depression, chaos and war until alternate engergy is in play (a generation after a full time commitment to it). oh, but I forgot ol' Georgie is President. I don't take joy in him looking impotent when he's trying to act tuff -- he already had warships marching up to China. He'll do something. And we'll wish he didn't. - Charles
