Fred, my knowledge of RIG is limited. I know some people that track offshore technology and will make some calls.

Deep water is a key target by the explorers. Deep water GOM, Angola, Brazil are still in the early stages of development. The technology to drill these areas is amazing and the R$D is focused on saving every penny.

The$10/bbl period we had forced a complete change in most of the sector. Technology is driving more decisions although the "brain drain" was terrible.

RIG is in the sweet spot but I don't have specifics regarding their strengths and weaknesses. I'll see what I can dig up.

Merrill's Oil & Gas analyst was part of a panel last week on CNBS that collectively believes that Oil will drop this summer back to the political/economic balance of $27/bbl.

The CEO of Anadarko made the point on another segment that we are living on the discoveries of the early '90's and we need to increase exploration to build up the inventory of proven & economical reserves.
