And part of his plan is a whizzbang system for assuring drug safety.>> Message 23934067 Good plan. I wish Canadian system would make strong effort to make all record keeping digital. From doctors offices, to hospitals,pharmacies etc.,with access to all qualified people .... every treatment, and meds, backed up daily and kept current and presented in concise format...eliminating fax stacks. At present, current system,largely paper and some digital provides giant disconnects between emergency medicine and family doctors for example. Medication conflicts, for patients, would be red flagged by the computer system for immediate attention. Duplication of tests for patients with more than one doctor, could be eliminated, saving millions.
