Many companies that invested heavily in generation the last few years were criticized by analyst and downgrade. Last year they actually upgraded companies who sold off their generation units and solely went into transmission. Perfect example was DQE and AYE (btw,AYE was downgraded a year ago). Look at their 1 year charts. lol... DQE recent earnings tell the story.

I bought the generation stocks when they took the pounding. Another one I liked was ORN.
