<Did you get the 60" or 70" XBR2? There seems to be quite a bit of variability in all types of HDTVs being produced now, each with its advantages and problems. This technology is still very new and evolving. It's hard to compare CRTs that had 60 years or so of evolution to the HDTVs currently available. Still I find it amazing that a picture as clear and large as the XBR's can be produced from a piece of silicon about 1/2" long on a side. A couple of million pixels out of these chips seems remarkable.> I just got the 60 inch for now as a stopgap for a couple of years for a few reasons 1) I want a flat-panel display (SED/plasma) 2) 1080p 3) HDMI 1.3 etc. Yes the picture is fantastic in comparison to the previous generations of RPTVs but my Fujitsu is just so sweet :-). I can't wait until the next generation Fujitsu's in the spring (although they are ridiculously overpriced). You're going to CES? You lucky lucky bastard! LOL
