Just put them on ebay, look at the premium on this auction that ended last night. $1925 US$ for (4) one ounce non-proof gold eagles, works out to $481.25 US$ for each ounce. Spot price reached $390 US$ last night resulting in a premium of $91.25 US$ less some ebay fees. Not that all people will be paying premiums like that but it looks like the dealer is trying to set you up for future exploitation. The internet works well against people like that.
