Earlie, re: layoffs... My daughter & son-in-law (the AA pilot) in St. Louis are putting their house on the market today ($295K) and planning their move to Colorado (he expects furlough in April at the latest, and immediately if war starts before then (war precludes any contract with employees). Thing is; the daughter talked to the neighbor across the street. The husband's income (drug [legal] salesman) decreased by more than $20K last year and they are having to down size. Another neighbor (golf pro) has been layed off since Nov. (now a stay at home Mom) and his wife's job (sells small planes for a company) is in jeopardy and they are soon to list their house.
