RE: DEC/INTC TALKS

IMO, it is always better for the disputants to agree in principle to a basis for resolving a dispute and then to debate the merits of their case in good faith until an agreement is clear.

The alternative is to have judges and a jurys enter into the dispute and then the outcome is protracted and the results uncertain for both sides. They could both end up losing with this approach. It certainly complicates any resolution of the dispute. This harms the stockholders of both firms.

So congratulations tor DEC and INTC! May reason prevail.
