You can find good and bad reviews on any product. In June 1996, Secure Computing evaluated NetShield/NT and said, "NetShield is a very competent product which expolits advantages of the Windows NT system and delivers a highly configurable and flexible package in combination with effective virus detection". Detection rates = In the Wild = 100% Boot Sector = 100% Overall rating = Five Stars In the same month PC Week also gave NetShield NT very high marks. Enough said. By the way, we can't compare McAfee's product to SYMC because they still don't offer anything more than an NT scanne
