"If the bark on the tree in the backyard suddenly turned into text, telling me how to lead a better life, heck I would believe?" Maybe there is a text on the tree and you just can't see it.

Anyway about your secular humanist website, hilarious! I can't believe how dogmatic secularism is these days. I especially like how you drop the name of practically every philosopher known to mankind. Lumping Aristotle and Kant together as "team secular" is a first.

I know you've been told what to say about secular humanism by your group leader, and you say it, and don't doubt that the whole truth is contained in glib parrot phrases because that is how you've been brain washed.

From your site, "Ethics - THIRD "We affirm that moral values derive their source from human experience. Ethics is autonomous and situational needing no theological or ideological sanction." I don't think Aristotle would have agreed but I think most child molesters would.

Everyon has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, and make no mistake about it "Secular Humanism" is a religion, your manifesto is no different than the Nicene Creed.
